Works for meReview by Billie on 7/9/2015I have a baby boy that is a heavy, fast wetter. I have been searching many materials for the "bullet proof" diaper. I started with microfiber-leaked, then added hemp-helped but created gaps in the legs with lead to leaking, then switched to kitchen flour sack towels-leaked, then added hemp-bulky, and although the KFST with hemp did work, it was super bulky. Was I asking too much for it to be trim too ;P. I heard about Zorb next. The description was too good to be true. I bought several yards and crossed my fingers.
After using these for several weeks I have discovered that although not "bullet proof", they do really well. I use 2 layers (I know 3 is recommended) sandwiched between suede cloth and an old receiving blanket. Under it I fold a hemp insert (2-3 layers) under the pee zone. This usually works without leaks as long as I change him within 2 hours or so. If he gets more than one pee in, it's too much and the pee finds an escape route along the leg holes (even with double gussets).
The zorb seems to absorb as much as the kfst did, but it did not do one thing as advertised for me. It was said that it absorbs quickly and spreads it throughout the rest of the insert. I find that only the front and bottom of the insert is wet and not the back. The hemp underneath slows the strong forceful pee and can be moderately wet to soaked and still zorb is not always completely wet. Could be how my baby pees or maybe I suck at sewing and did something wrong? Either way, they do really well and are trim. I am happy with my purchase. Still have to use disposables at night though... Read more reviews

- Great for menstrual pads
I use this for menstrual pads. Thicker is a little better in this case because a thinner absorbent core paired with a PUL bottom layer and wicking top layer don't always have enough body to keep its shape and stay in place. But this zorb does. Though 2 layers does feel a bit bulky. For period underwear I do think even one layer of this is too thick and prefer the thinner newer gen zorbs.
- Love it!
I WOULDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING OF IT
- Cloth pads!
I love this product and company! Material always arrives clean and without scent and shipping is fast!
- Will buy again
Love original zorb! It performs wonderfully and is very easy to work with.I use this in the absorbent layer and snap in soaker for cloth diapers.
- Reusable Cloth Pads
I love this fabric! Super absorbent, easy to sew and of quality!!!
- Love it!
I love original zorb.. It's easy to work with and has minimal stretch.. I just wish it could be a little more affordable..
I use it as an absorbent core layer for reusable cloth pads that I make for donation and sometimes myself.. 1 layer of Original Zorb = moderate absorbency and 2 layers of Original Zorb = heavy/overnight absorbency.. I combine it with flannel since Original Zorb can be susceptible to compression leaks..
- Good Product
Its amazing absorbent and dry fast.
Has amazing absorbing strength. Wish gen one original zorb had silver too.
- Worth the money
This fabric is fantastic for the absorbent layer of cloth pads. It holds a lot of fluid and cleans well. The untreated version does not hold odor and lasts for years.
- Nice product
I love how trim this fabric makes my diapers. I like it with a layer of hemp fleece.
